Sara Reed

Meet Our Occupational Therapist

Sara is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who supports children across the early years, with a focus on sensory processing, motor skill development, and school readiness.

Originally from South Africa, Sara has worked across both paediatric and mental health settings and brings a calm, gentle approach to her therapy sessions. She values the importance of fun, play-based learning and tailoring each session to suit the unique needs and interests of the child.

Sara is passionate about working alongside families and educators to support consistency and collaboration across home and school environments. She draws on evidence-based strategies and sensory integration approaches to help children feel regulated, confident, and capable in their daily lives.

Sara is particularly interested in supporting children with developmental delays, sensory sensitivities, and difficulties with gross and fine motor coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (Honours), University of Cape Town (2018)

Sara enjoys peaceful pilates sessions, going for walks in nature, and reading a good book with a cup of coffee in hand. She loves travelling and exploring new places, and values time spent relaxing with loved ones and recharging in quiet moments.
