Jasmine completed her studies at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. Since graduating she made the exciting move to Brisbane, where she has supported young people and their families in private practice settings.
Her therapy style focuses on creating a safe and fun space for young people to learn, while also providing a break from any life expectations outside of sessions. Jasmine finds great joy in supporting young people to communicate their wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings with those around them.
Over her career, Jasmine has developed a strong interest in supporting non-speaking and minimally speaking young people, by advocating for and providing a multi-modal communication approach (including Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Key Word Sign, and spoken language). She is also passionate about supporting Natural Language Acquisition (Gestalt Language Processing) and working alongside families to better understand and support their child’s communication.
Jasmine is committed to neurodiversity-affirming practice and values working collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure each child’s goals are meaningful and reflect their individuality.
