Meet Our Occupational Therapist

Edel is a compassionate Occupational Therapist who works with children and families to promote confidence, independence, and emotional regulation. She takes a neuro-affirmative approach, celebrating each child’s individuality and focusing on what makes them unique.

Edel has experience in both hospital and private practice settings across Ireland and Australia, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and developmental delays. She is particularly skilled in early intervention and play-based therapy, incorporating fine and gross motor skill development and sensory integration strategies into her sessions. Edel focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel empowered to explore, learn, and achieve meaningful goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Coventry University, United Kingdom (2020)

When she’s not working, Edel enjoys walking by the river, exploring local cafés, swimming, or Pilates. She also plays Gaelic football in Australia, keeping a bit of home close to her heart.
